They just opened a Total WIne (awesome place, you must go if you haven’t been) nearby and we scored some great wines at great prices. We used a couple as gifts and the other two as hostess gifts. Following with my handmade Christmas theme , I decided to make my own wine bags, instead of using the ones I had.

When you check out they give you the paper bags.

I made these labels on the computer and printed them out on shipping label paper  and stuck them right tot the bag. You can get a ton of images if you google diy gift labels.

I also made the cute little tags in matching colors and pinted them out on heavy weight paper.

Just roll the bottle in tissue paper and slip it into the bag letting it stick out a couple of inches on top. Flip over the edge to create the layered rose look.
