Last week I showed you some great and inexpensive diy pallet seating. And now here’s a diy succulent pallet table I found at Far Out Flora that I fell in love with at first sight!
They used 3 found pallets; two for the actual pallet and one for practice (looks like pulling a pallet apart is not such an easy task). They then put the two deconstructed pallets back together creating a basic frame to which they added some scrap table legs.
Next, they created a center hollow plant box to house the succulents. By drilling some holes and using a fast draining cactus mix, they ensured proper and quick drainage.
Once placed, the succulents make the finished product that much more amazing. Visit Far Out Flora to learn how to make this beautiful table, with a step by step tutorial.
Tip: Succulents tend to not like very much water (they will rot in no time when over watered). If you live in an area where it rains a lot it’s probably best to either keep this table under shelter or plant more water-loving plants.
