A couple of weeks ago I posted about making coffee filter flowers over at Small Garden Love. I included several links to tutorials for different types of flowers. I thought they were so pretty that I’ve wanted to make some for myself since.

I went to the dollar store and got myself some coffee filters and gathered all my supplies:

• Skewers
• Coffee Filters
• Floral tape
• Floral wire
• Hot glue
• Vase

I had everything already (left over from other projects) except the filters. So this project only cost me $1.

I used these two tutorials here and here to make them.

The only thing I did different was that I had to tie the stems together with a rubber band since the vase was so short and the flowers kept on falling out. I then covered the rubber band with some floral tape so it wouldn’t show.

Before, the vase was kinda lonely.

Now the vase is happy!
