Now’s the time of the year that it will start to cool down a little. You know what that means….Garden Party!!!
Here’s a little inspiration to get ya started.
Sometimes using a limited amount of colors can unify a theme. In this example, the blue and white color scheme units all the different elements of this garden party. Even though the plates, pillows, chairs, candle holders, etc. are all different, they go together beautifully.
I love how welcoming this table is, everyone serves themselves and enjoys a family style meal.
Here’s a more dainty setting. The pops of yellow keep it from feeling too reserved and ‘look but don’t touch’.
I love the use of the birdhouses, can you imagine those at night with some tea lights? You can create this whimsical garden party look easily yourself even if you don’t use birdhouses. The idea here is to use like objects, for instance lanterns. Anything you can hang up and put a candle in.
This is definitely my favorite, it’s so playful and whimsical. I love that they used stumps as stools. Looks like something from Alice in wonderland.
No furniture? No problem, just lay a blanket out with some pillows. This is by far the easiest to replicate. The added plus is you can take a nap there after eating too much. Love it!
Here are some pretty little details that also caught my eye:
Aren’t these pretty, and they all look super easy to make. Reuse your old wine bottles or glass water bottles and hang them up as vases.
So simple yet so stunning. Just take a few old jars and put a single flower in each. Keep the color consistent for added drama.
Love this, looks like something from the french countryside. A well staged buffet is a must, why just use it for plates and food?
This adorable buffet area just goes to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to create great garden party decor. All you need is imagination and some common household items that you already have.
As you can see you don’t have to have a huge yard to have a garden party, all you need is a little space, good food and great friends to share it with.
