Fun & Easy Paper Ornaments

Filling up that tree with ornaments can get expensive, especially if you want your tree to look different every year. I personally, get bored with using the same ornaments and like to change-up the color from year to year. Even though I wait for those close to Christmas sales at Targay and Kmart when I need new ornaments, it still adds up.

Gilded Pine Cone Holiday Place Card Holders

So a couple of weeks ago I finally did something with the pine cones I had lying around for almost a year. I painted the bottom half with gold spray paint giving them a gilded gold dipped look and placed them on display in a bowl on the bookshelf. I had a few extra so I decided to create some gilded pine cone holiday place card holders. It was very simple and didn't cost me a penny.
