Want some cheap garden art? All you need is a few old vases, dishes and some pipe. And you can create a little bit of whimsy for your garden for a very small price.
Here are three versions, all different but equally pretty in their own individual ways:
This one didn’t have a tutorial but you can probably use one of the other tutorials below and adjust it. It looks like they used garden stakes, which you can easily find at any garden supply store. Get the plastic ones so they don’t rot.
Then for the tops just group together oddball pieces in a similar color. This will unit them even if they have different patterns and shape. You can basically use just about anything you can find; small plates, vases, decorative balls etc. Use anything you have on hand or can find cheaply at a thrift store, to keep the cost low.
I like how they even matched the garden art to the flowers.
I really like the simplicity of color and style of this singular piece of garden art. They just used a few clear glass pieces glued together. The texture of the glass is what adds the interest. Get the tutorial here.
Here’s a cute whimsical set of garden art. Reminds me of Alice in wonderland for some reason, maybe it’s the rabbit and the tea pots. This one uses different shapes and colors, yet it still looks uniform and non chaotic. I think it’s the fact that all the vases that connect the top pieces to the stakes have similar shapes. Get the instructions here.
Depending on the style of your garden you can go from country chic all the way to modern just by the objects you choose. You can also complement or contrast your garden’s color scheme, depending on what you use.
